Conservatory Designs are the leading installers of A Rated windows and doors throughout Leinster. Conservatory Designs have a team of highly qualified window and door fitters who are trained to work in the home. They will respect your home and keep every room clean and tidy. We use drop clothes everywhere and ensure that each room is returned to you once the windows have been fitted in the same condition as we receive it. Just read some of our recent testimonials for further reassurance that we take customer service seriously.Remember you can buy the best windows but poor fitting will result in drafts, poor opening mechanisms and unnecessary damage to existing decor resulting in stress and further cost for the homeowner.
At Conservatory Designs we put a special focus on security for the home and we ensure that when you replace your windows and doors that it is virtually impossible for an intruder to break in. While many companies focus their marketing on the race to have the most locks in the market we focus more on the quality of the lock mechanisms and how they perform. Here are the key issues you need to be aware of regarding the security of PVC windows and doors.
Firstly all your glazing should/must be fitted from the inside to ensure that an intruder cannot remove the glazing using a screwdriver or other implement from the outside. The second weakest defence and common point of access is to snap the door barrels allowing the intruder to simply open the door and walk in. All our doors have anti-snap barrels fitted as standard. Finally all locks should engage into steel reinforcing, otherwise they can simply be prised open using a screwdriver. Because we use fully reinforced conservatory framing in all our window and door replacement work, these lock reinforced are standard and not something you have to request or pay extra for.
